Please join us for our Monthly Dinner Meeting.
We socialize and enjoy cocktails & snacks from 6:00 to 6:30 pm. The Program and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Our program for June 9, 2009 presents Sister Lillie from Immaculate Conception Academy, who will announce her school's participation in the Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study Program to place high school girls into internships in businesses in the community.
Immaculate Conception Academy is a four-year Catholic high school for young women. Founded in 1883, ICA has offered an opportunity for countless struggling families to provide quality secondary education for their daughters. Schools in the Cristo Rey Network are Catholic schools which operate with a unique program of strong college prep curriculum with a corporate work-study component.
In 2009, two of ICA's students were recipients of grants and scholarships awarded by Soroptimist International of San Francisco!
